I am on my third one... The first one leaked (it seems to happen once the product has been moved, even though the instructions have been followed) and it makes you wonder why the rollers have been supplied. The second one was incorrectly assembled and did not work and the third one leaks once it has been moved (just like the first one did). Rating: - Worked well for a year and then broke down
I was happy with this dehumidifier at first. It worked well although it is a little noisy. Then it stopped humidifying. Sometimes it would start, the compressor would shake and it would cut out. There is no after sales service from DeLonghi. They refer you to another organisation who do not reply and then when you eventually get them they do not cover your area. This can extract water from the air even when a (separate) humidity detector states the humidity is already down to 45% The compressor is quieter than the fan so it isn't clear when it has actually cut in after the safety 3 min wait. At this humidity (45%), it took a couple of hours before the internal pipework had filled enough to start dripping into the tank for the first time, so don't panic if it doesn't seem to be working straight away.
